So I guess I overestimated my technological prowess. I say this because I've spent the last hour and a half trying to load a simple video on Youtube (something I actually have successful experience in) and have failed miserably. Oh well, it's nice to get constant reminder of your limitations on an hourly basis. =)
So in the meantime, I'm trying this. It is an audio file of one of the panel questions for worship leaders. The conversation is between Matt Redman and Pastor Scotty Smith about the "service of worship" and "worship service."
wow! thank you for posting. great biblical perspective and insight. i will be attending tomorrow and am very excited!

Loving the conference! What's the deal with the IMAG in the worship center, though? Seems like there are a LOT of technical snaffoos...late lyrics, odd graphics, bad cues. It's just not on par with the excellence of the rest of the conference...excellent worship and teaching!

Thanks Lem,
I Know, there have been a couple more glitches than we had hoped, but we're giving some grace for the tech folks. There are lots of bands and artists coming from every part of the country playing songs that no one has ever heard before. I know i wouldn't want the job of keeping up =)
Come say hi if you see me around.

Thanks for the updates! I was grateful to be part of the first annual conference last year, but I wasn't able to make it this year. Where can I find a schedule of what is taking place this year? Will conference cds be available online? Thanks so much!

When Matt Redman closed the pre-conference session, he led us in singing "Everlasting God". He changed the lyrics at the end of the chorus, as a call for us to commit ourselves to defend the weak and lift up those in need. It was a needed reminder that we sometimes have to do the things we usually ask God to do. Does anyone remember those new lyrics? I wish I had written them down right away, because they were quickly gone from my mind.
